Good Bones

Working on an old house for a few years has taught me some things;

  1. No matter how much effort, that house will never be perfect. Like us we will never reach perfection in this life.
  2. Most every area that is updated reveals old problems that need to be repaired. As God works in our life, old hidden sins are revealed that need to be addressed.
  3. Some of the hard work and repairs of that old house will eventually benefit someone else. It is a blessing to others when they see how God has changed our lives through the atoning work of Christ.
