What is God Like? Part 2 of 3

This message was recorded on Friday to have it online for some of our home bound  congregants. I invited a senior saint to sit in for the recording of this video. She told me it was the first time she had left her house in a week. She was so happy to be able to be someplace where another human was. This sweet lady was almost giddy to be in church, even if it was only the two of us.

It is sad how many seniors are sitting at home during this crisis. Many do not know what to do. Some are scared and lonely. It was a blessing to have a dear sweet senior sitting in to hear me preach to an otherwise empty building.

During the recording session my phone rang. Which was quite unusual as it was set to ‘do not disturb’. The phone call turned out to be about another senior church member who is in the hospital. That call allowed me some time to pray with the one person in the building. We were both blessed by the interruption.

I finished the message and did not do a retake. Sometimes we just need to allow room for a little disruption to remind us of what really matters.
