A blessing of love

May 23, 2020
The creation story documented in Genesis has acts of love woven throughout. Adam, human life itself, began as a marvelous act of God! After creation of light, sky, land, vegetation, and animals, God supernaturally brought a wonderful gift to Adam named Eve. It’s truly a match made from Heaven above, a structure God set forth to make life wonderful…together!
I’m so excited for weddings that will take place today. Unions of love entering into a covenant of love ordained by God himself. Covenants blessed by God, to be honored as long as life endures.
Whether you are entering this covenant today or have been walking this journey for awhile, be blessed by the gift you have in each other. Honor the Father in the way you love each other. Live for Jesus individually and as a couple. Always maintain space for the Holy Spirit to be in your marriage. He is the best advocate you can ever rely on! Marriage is a blessed gift. Your spouse is a very special treasure.
May God grant a blessing of love, honor, respect, joy, adoration, excitement, closeness and intimacy upon all marriages represented by those who read this post today. I also pray for God given tools needed to cultivate, forgive, mend, restore and grow in our marital relationships. God, be with those who have loved so deeply and have lost their life mate. Let them sense your presence today. Be exalted, Lord. Let our lives bring honor of you. Thank you for the gifts you give to us in and through each other. Amen.
Genesis 2:18, 22-24
Then the Lord God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper who is just right for him.” Then the Lord God made a woman from the rib, and he brought her to the man. “At last!” the man exclaimed. “This one is bone from my bone, and flesh from my flesh! She will be called ‘woman,’ because she was taken from ‘man.’” This explains why a man leaves his father and mother and is joined to his wife, and the two are united into one.
