Here’s to a new year

2018 has been a difficult year. Maybe the hardest year of my life. In 49 years of life I have lost loved ones, been homeless, lost jobs unfairly, and had trusted friends turn on me.  Divorced my first wife because of repeated infidelity. Been through a few rough patches in life to say the least. But this year has taken bronze, silver, and gold for all time crappy years!

Yet God has blessed me along the way. Such an amazing thing. How wonderful is God’s love for His children!

Here’s to a new year. Remember that God never wastes a hurt.

We have been richly blessed this year. The Lord has given us more than we deserve and we thank him for all we have. Many things have not worked the way we had planned but He has taken care of us and for this we are eternally grateful.

Had a rough year with my health (thyroid disease), and stressful job with a long commute. Trusting God with His healing, mercy, and grace in a time of need, entering a new year, leaning on Him with a smile.

It’s not always easy to see a job as God’s provision and a blessing.
I have found comfort in listening to Christian radio and or praying on work commutes.
Have a blessed New Year Robert!

  3. I’m sure this year will be kinder than ’18 was!
    Sending blessings your way ❤
